A few taps in the app. TikTok prepares the file in the background and emails you when it's ready (usually in a few minutes). Then come back here.
1. Open TikTok on your phone
2. Go to your Profile
Tap the Profile icon bottom right
3. Open Settings
Tap the ☰ menu top right → Settings and Privacy
4. Find "Download your data"
Settings → Privacy → Download your data
5. Select JSON format
Important: choose JSON not TXT. Then tap "Request data"
6. Wait for the download
TikTok will notify you when ready. Usually 2–10 minutes. Come back to this page when it's done.
Why JSON (and not TXT)?
JSON is a structured format our tool can actually read. The TXT version is just a plain-text log — we can't parse it. If you pick TXT by mistake, you'll need to request the data again.
